Where to Eat in Tagaytay: Marcia Adams' Restaurant

This place is probably one of the most raved about restaurants in Tagaytay. I think it was 3 years ago when I first rad about Marcia Adams'. I haven't been to Tuscany, but I remember watching Under The Tuscan Sun and this restaurant, even by just looking at the photos, gave me that Tuscan feelzz. lol.

What a blooper, I thought this door would lead us to the little Tuscany, but no. Good thing there were vegetable and pasalubong vendors who led us the right way. To be honest, I was not too excited about the food, I know that their menu has very limited options. I was more excited to finally see the place, in the flesh! The place was worth the wait. My kind of restaurant, my kind of place. 

 I wonder when did they start growing the plants there! 

 Who cares about the food when you've got this view while eating? That white house right in the middle of the field looks so lonely and pretty at the same time!

From where I was sitting. The sunset set, this room, is the best place in the whole of  Marcia Adams.

Now, enough of the lovely place. While it really is very wonderful, the food was great as well! To be honest, it was not something that I would crave and would make me want to go back.The food was alright.  Yes, it was over priced but it was a good thing that the place made up for it

French Lamb Stew  3 Course Meal - P985.00

This soup of the day does not look that appetizing but I liked it very much!

This disappointed me so much. The marble potatoes were good, but I think I'm not a stew person.

Pavlova (Additonal P95.00). - Now this was good. It had a very balanced taste. You would think that the meringue and whipped cream wold be too sweet, but it was successfully balance by the kiwis and the syrup.

Classic Shish Kebab 3 Course Meal - P985.00

Amalfi Prawns - I personally think this was the best part of the meal! Sooo good!

Classic Shish Kebab - I wish I ordered this one. It was full of flavor. 

Panna Cotta with Lemon Sauce - This was nothing exceptional. 

Like what I have mentioned, the food was great but not something that I would go back for. I'd say I was a LITTLE bit disappointed with the food, especially with the main course, but it felt really great to finally experience one of the most raved about restaurants in Tagaytay. 

Will I go back? At the moment, I'm not considering it. 

Will I recommend the place? Well, YES! It is a very good place. I guess I just ordered the wrong food, not my taste. But with enough research, I think everyone would have a great time with the beautiful place and the delicately prepared food!
