Perfect Holiday Drink: Choco Confetti Vodka!

Image
Not everyone can take the taste of alcohol, and that's pretty understandable! I only started drinking after I graduated college and I started enjoying it  a bit only years after I had my first sip. This post is not to encourage drinking, I just want to share a mix that I love so much. An alcoholic drink does not have to always taste 'bad' and/or too much! A video was shared to us some time ago and we though it would be nice to re-create the drink that we saw! We had all the ingredients so why the hell not, right? Ever since we discovered this, it instantly became our favorite mix! lol.  What you will need: ♥ Shaker ♥ Ice ♥ Nutella (or any chocolate spread available) ♥ Vodka ♥ Baileys ♥ Sprinkles It's VERY easy to make and VERY easy to drink. lol  In your shaker with lots of ice, youjust have to... Step 1: Pour 2 shot glasses full of vodka Step 2: Pour 1 shot glass full of Baileys Step 3: Add a teaspoon of chocolate spread

New Hang Out Place: Pixels Hobby Café - Valenzuela

Image
The top three things that I look for in a restaurant or cafe are food quality, the price and the ambiance. If the place has good enough food, price is good and has a cozy and/or beautiful ambiance, I'll be visiting more than twice for sure! I have been eyeing Pixels Hobby Café in Valenzuela for few weeks now. We passed by the area one time and my eyes literally popped when I saw how well lit and cozy the cafe looks. I knew I needed to go there and I finally did last Tuesday.  Pixels Hobby Cafe I mean, look at this! Too bad the loft area was occupied (on a Tuesday night!) when we arrived. Would've loved to sit there. Oh well, next time. :) The have enough food selection. From rice meals, pastas, finger food, desserts, coffee, milk tea and group meals options; they have it all! And can you spot the prices? Nothing over P200.00!  We sat down by one of the tables/chairs on this part of th cafe. I love white/clean backdrops and colorful details!  Stairs l

Thai BBQ Original Restaurant

Image
I was quite stoked when I learned that Thai BBQ Original restaurant is now open at Ayala Malls, Vertis North in Quezon City.  We already had what we wanted in our minds even before we reached the restaurant: Tom Yum Soup, Pad Thai, Pandan Chicken, Thai Iced Tea and probably Mango Sticky Rice for dessert. Because Ayala Mall Vertis North just soft opened, we knew that it wouldn't be crowded -- just like how we want it.  We ordered Tom Khai Ghai for soup, PadThai, Pandan Chicken, Plain Rice, Green Mango Shake and Thai Milk Tea. The staff who took our order even read out what she wrote on her little notepad and we confirmed that, yup, those are our orders!  Perhaps because it just soft opened 14th of July, we noticed how confused some of the staff were. They made a mistake of serving our Pad Thai and Pandan Chiken to a different table. That's okay, it wasn't that much of an issue. But since we were a bit hungry already, we started with Pad Thai and decided to just w

Artsy Cafe {Maginhawa Street}

Image
Artsy Cafe has always been on my radar when it comes to choosing a place to eat in Maginhawa.  I have been told that the food isn't great but; that did not stop me from wanting to eat there. Although I have been wanting to at there for a long time now, I still opt to wait for a special occasion. And 1st of August is the perfect date!  It was a bit crowded when we ate there so I was not able to take photos inside.  I could sit here all day. Now, for the food.. Since I had my expectations set already, I was not looking forward to eating that much. To be honest, I was more excited to see the place! My expectation was low so the food definitely exceeded my expectation. :P We ordered Mushroom Soup, Creamy Salmon Pasta, Oil Based Sardina ala Provencal, Baby Back Ribs, Brewed Coffee (Arabica) and Cheesecake Crumble. Sardina ala Provencal Creamy Salmon Past Baby Back Ribs which I liked so much! Mushroom Soup To be honest, the food was just mediocre. Alth

Red Engine Diner + Downtown Pizza - Pasta - Sky Ranch Tagaytay

Gosh, how do you guys keep your blogging lives so active? I suck at management. Be it with work, social, personal, online and finances, I suck big time! I swore so many times that I will make time to update my blog, at least once a month & apparently, I could not keep that promise. I have no excuses this time. At least I am here, blogging. Trying. Well, I have so many lined up post. The photos are long overdue, but it is better later than never. Better to have a late post than nothing. So, let's get going! And this, my friends, is another food post!  It was my first time to try this restaurant. The only reason why we chose this is because it was empty. I don't like crowded restaurants. I was not expecting too much, I learned that so I could enjoy the food! :P Well, since the name of the diner includes Red, it's imperative to order their Red Engine Burger, right? Since this post is loooong overdue, I can't tell you a blow by blow description of

Where to Eat in Tagaytay: Marcia Adams' Restaurant

Image
This place is probably one of the most raved about restaurants in Tagaytay. I think it was 3 years ago when I first rad about Marcia Adams'. I haven't been to Tuscany, but I remember watching Under The Tuscan Sun and this restaurant, even by just looking at the photos, gave me that Tuscan feelzz. lol. What a blooper, I thought this door would lead us to the little Tuscany, but no. Good thing there were vegetable and pasalubong vendors who led us the right way. To be honest, I was not too excited about the food, I know that their menu has very limited options. I was more excited to finally see the place, in the flesh! The place was worth the wait. My kind of restaurant, my kind of place.   I wonder when did they start growing the plants there!   Who cares about the food when you've got this view while eating? That white house right in the middle of the field looks so lonely and pretty at the same time! From where I was sitting. The sunset set, this r

White Fence Country Cafe - Puerto Princesa City, Palawan

This blog entry is a long overdue one. It has been three months and I really feel like that there is a need to blog about this. The restaurant is just too blog worthy! Everything inside that place is so pretty, my kind of restaurant - really! To say that I was amazed is an understatement. Haaay. Blogging about it makes me want to go back and take more pictures! This was not the restaurant that I wanted to eat at for our last meal in Puerto Princesa; but then I saw the 'Pasta' signage and I knew that we needed to eat here. So glad that I had that last minute change of plan.   My jaw literally dropped when I entered the restaurant! It's soooo pretty! It was a good thing that there were only few people when we ate there. I had the freedom to take photos. I couldn't help it because it felt like the restaurant was made for me!  I don't think I'll ever stop saying how pretty the restaurant is. It feels very homey and everyone was friendly and accommodating.
