A Different Approach

I have been feeling down lately due to reasons that I do not want to divulge. When I'm sad, I usually just stay at home. I don't check my social networking sites and I just lay down on my bed until I fall asleep. But the other day and yesterday,I decided to do the opposite. I decided to be active on my social networking sites again and go out with my bestfriend. And also, I have been eating a lot.  Can you believe that these photos were taken by my phone? HAHA! I love it! :) Friday, I went to SM Dasma to meet up with beshy. We watched a movie and ate at Joey Pepperoni. And then Saturday, Jess and I met up again. Mall of Asia naman. Before leaving for MOA, I had Jollibee for brekky. I arrived at MOA first, so I waited for Besh at Krispy Kreme. Then we had lunch at Kimono Ken. We also had Dunkin Donuts for merienda.  Thank you for being there with me Jessie! Thank you for listening to me. Thank you for always being there! I'm so thankful I have you (and Ymel)

I have a feeling..

You know what's the next best thing to pancakes, Nutella and coffee in the morning? Flowers delivered right at your doorstep! :) This was my breakfast this morning! HAHA. But seriously, thank you! :) I love it! I really do! I have a feeling that October is gonna be awesome!  Let's have an awesome October, friends! :-)

Oh, Twitter!

Twitter, if not the most, is one of those social networking sites with most users. Not surprising at all, because tweeting is so fun and easy. I joined Twitter in May 2008. Although I have been on Twitter for more than three years already, I started being really active on it  a year after creating the account. I didn't enjoy it at first because there weren't so many people I know on Twitter. During those times, when I wasn't that active yet, I only use it for fangirling purposes. Lol. Then, some of my friends started using it and some of my (then) coworkers started to sign up and then poof! I started tweeting almost  everytime and everything. I started to actually have fun on Twitter.  Who wouldn't have fun on it, anyway? You get to express what you feel at the moment, you get to rant, vent rave. You get to tell everyone what you just woke up, that you're sleepy, what you had for lunch, etc. You get to talk to people whom you don't see that often. Twitter i

Oh, Facebook!

I know, I know. I'm such a bad bad blogger. So many things happened but I didn't really want to blog them all. Well, honestly, it was more like I do not know how to put all those things into words. Aaah. What is happening to me? I used to blahb about everything. Kahit sobrang senseless na, go pa din. Lately.. I've been more, uhm.. Private? HAHA. I don't know. Am I making sense? I really want to update this blog, I'm doing the best I can, so please bear with me. :))) Few days ago, I decided deactivate my Facebook account. The day that I deactivated my Facebook was one of the most difficult/exhausting days in my life. I was (still am, actually) going through something and I don't know, I just thought of deactivating it. My original plan was to keep it like that for about a week, but my mother wouldn't stop bugging me to re-activate my Facebook. So yun. Being the obedient daughter that I am, my account is back on. When I logged on Facebook, I saw that she

Lola Carmen and Me I can't believe I'm just few steps away to finishing this training. Almost everyone close tome knows that this is not the line of work that I want take. I remember crying because right after I finished AB-Int'l Studies in college they forced me to take up Caregiving. I gave in and enrolled in a Caregiver Training 2 months after my graduation. I dropped out of class because I really couldn't take it. Haha! Then after almost three years, I decided to give it another shot. My parents and relatives explained that I just need to finish the training but I don't really need to practice it when our plans push through. I'm so thankful that finally, I will get this over and done with. Last Friday was our last day for the Elderly OJT. I, together with my classmate Lyn, was assigned to look after Lola Carmen for two weeks. I'm so thankful because Lola Carmen is so nice and cool. She jokes around a lot. She made it easy for me and my partner. I am sure

Since I am so behind in my entries, I decided to post to summer getaways in one entry! Ha! Valentino Resort and Spa We had a once in a blue moon mini reunion few weeks ago with my relatives from my father's side. We hardly see each other so naturally, we aren't that bonded. The mini reunion was actually for Lola Fidela's birthday. I met some cousins for the first time. We still didn't talk that much but I'm so glad I met them somehow. Hopefully, we'll get to spend time together again soon. Group picture! :) The place is so beautiful! Really. It is. Very. And what's really cool is that there were times when we have the pool by ourselves! Lol. There weren't so many people when we were there. See? No one else there! Hahaha! They even have a hanging bridge there! There's also a Koi pond in the place were we stayed in. Dolphin Bay Resort @ Sabang, Puerto Galera Mother and friends organized a little bonding and catching up few weeks ago, so me and my siste

Gawwwd. I still haven't blogged about the little family reunion we had two weeks ago. I'm skipping that one for now. I'll blog something which happened to me last Sunday. I can't wait to blog about this anymore, I wanna blog this when everything's still fresh! The introduction is getting too long so I'm gonna start now. My mother and her high school barkada decided to to go to Puerto Galera last weekend. Me and my youngest sister, Kiara, tagged along. We were there Saturday lunch until Sunday lunch. I needed to go back to Manila yesterday so my Mom (and her friends) said that I better ride the boat from Galera instead of going back to Calapan to ride a ship. I didn't want to at first because I really prefer riding with SuperCat. It's always safer there. I read tweets about the strong rain not only in Manila, but in Calapan as well. Someone also said that the SuperCat's trip might be cancelled because of the bad weather condition. In the end, t

I went home in Mindoro for the Holy Week and spent the weekend with the extended family. (Mother's side) When we're together, we always eat a lot or swim a lot. Be it at a cheap resort or a really good one, as long as the pools are clean, we'll go there and drown ourselves in the pool! For this summer, we went swimming at Benilda Resort in Naujan and at Villa Bautista Resort in Victoria. I'll just squeeze the photos from the two resorts in one entry because there's still a lot to blog but I was too lazy so I am so behind right now. :)) Benilda Resort I initially didn't have plan of swimming but my little cousin, Antonella, didn't want to go in the water unless she was with me. Lol. The water's so clear. They only have 2 swimming pools. One for adults and a smaller one for kids. Antonella. You can still see the marks that chickenpox left the poor little girl. She's too maarte. The place is so pretty! So many places to get photos taken! We loved these

I'm finally attending my last module! A month and a half more and I'm finally done with this Caregiver training! I seriously cannot wait to work again. I miss dressing up for work working! Like, really. So.. This last module which I am currently taking is Child Care. One of the activities that I really looked forward to doing is the Child Entertainment activity. Each group sang 5 nursery rhymes and performed one puppeteering show. Our group sang Little Teapot, Sit Down You're Rockin The Boat, It's A Small World and Humpty Dumpty. For the puppeteering activity, we performed using stick puppets and told the story of Jack And The Beanstalk. ▲With my groupmates. We were the first to perform.▲ ▲The characters for our Rod Puppet Show! ▲ ▲Ate Fe, Yvette and Me. ▲ ▲I was one of those who voiced over the characters.▲ ▲ My favorite was The Three Little Pigs by the 3rd Group! The cut outs they used for the Shadow Presentation were very detailed! ▲ ▲We were performing Humpty Dump

I was in Mindoro for the weekend. I arrived there Friday night and was back in Manila few hours ago. Yesterday, Saturday, the whole family attended a wedding. It was a very simple and old school wedding. The reception was held at the bride's place, which is located in the middle of the rice field! We had to walk under the scorching heat of the sun. I know it's officially summer but I didn't expect that it'd be that hot! Well anyway, we ate a lot and we're for the newlyweds! I don't know the newlyweds personally. All I know about them is that the groom is a son of my parent's friend in Milan. Since I'm a blogger who doesn't have much to say at the moment, I'll share some photos. The photos were just taken by my phone so the quality is not that great. They all expected that I already had the camera in my bag when we left our house. It turned out, apparently, that no one brought it. Why do some people always expect me to be the one who brings the c
