DIY Hair Rebonding : Hortaleza Professional Color & Rebond System

Image
I cannot stress enough how much my unruly hair takes so much of my time and patience. I don't want to spend so much to get it done but I'm also so frustrated and I know I need to do something about it ASAP! Then I remembered, hey, I can get a hair transformation without having to spend so much!  Let me share with you how I managed to get my hair rebonded for only P310.00! The most that I have spent for my hair is almost P6,000 for a Keratin Hair Treatment at Azta Urban Salon few years ago. Although I was satisfied with how it turned out, I still felt so bad spending so much for my hair. Then one day, I believe it was 2-3 years ago, I stopped by HBC to look around and saw their Professional Color & Rebond System. I was not able to post an entry the first time I used it so I'm making sure this second one will be published! Here's what you'll need: ♥Hortaleza Professional Color & Rebond System ♥Plastic container where you can mix the products

Private Pool in Metro Manila - Lorenzo's Place Valenzuela

Image
When Private Pool comes into conversation, Pansol, Laguna instantaneously comes up on top of the list. It wouldn't be dubbed as the Team Building Capital of the Philippines for nothing, right? While there really are a LOT of options in Pansol, Laguna, it's also a known fact that the transporation and car rental to reach the Private Pool of choice is going to hurt your budget. A van rental alone, which normally sits 10-12 people can cost P8,000-P12,000. If you're going to add that up with your food and other expenses for the team building or family bonding budget, it will really be too much! I personally had quite a lot of challenging times looking for a Private Pool just within the Metro. If you are looking for a place for team building, family bonding, events place or just a simple swimming/gathering, Lorenzo's Place - Valenzuela is great choice.  With no traffic, in less than 30 minutes, you'll get here if you're coming from QC North Area.  RATE

Thai BBQ Original Restaurant

Image
I was quite stoked when I learned that Thai BBQ Original restaurant is now open at Ayala Malls, Vertis North in Quezon City.  We already had what we wanted in our minds even before we reached the restaurant: Tom Yum Soup, Pad Thai, Pandan Chicken, Thai Iced Tea and probably Mango Sticky Rice for dessert. Because Ayala Mall Vertis North just soft opened, we knew that it wouldn't be crowded -- just like how we want it.  We ordered Tom Khai Ghai for soup, PadThai, Pandan Chicken, Plain Rice, Green Mango Shake and Thai Milk Tea. The staff who took our order even read out what she wrote on her little notepad and we confirmed that, yup, those are our orders!  Perhaps because it just soft opened 14th of July, we noticed how confused some of the staff were. They made a mistake of serving our Pad Thai and Pandan Chiken to a different table. That's okay, it wasn't that much of an issue. But since we were a bit hungry already, we started with Pad Thai and decided to just w

Review: BeachBorn Sea Salt Spray

Image
My hair is very unruly. I was born with naturally wavy hair and keeping it decent has always been a challenge. I used to get regular hair treatments; I actually started back in highschool. I tried hair relaxing, hair rebonding, and all other types of Keratin treatments. These are really helpful, I especially like getting Keratin Hair treatments because unlike rebonding, my hair does not look that flat. However, it only lasts for few months. On the second or third month, I would find myself going back to blow drying and straightening my hair. If I have all the time in the world, I really wouldn't mind; however, would rather sleep in for another 60 minutes than spend it on my hair every single day. Just for making sure that my hair would stay tamed the whole day, I need to invest at least an hour drying it and straightening every single strand of my thick hair! When I do not have the luxury of time to straighten my hair, I would usually just braid my damp hair and loosen it

Review: Astoria Current Boracay (My Favorite!)

Image
The first time that I went to Boracay, I stayed in one of the hotels in Station 2. To be honest, I didn't really like how crowded Station 2 is even on lean season. Station 3, where Current by Astoria is located, might sound a bit far for some; but I reckon it is the best spot in Boracay! It's less crowded, bigger area to swim and nearer to the tents where activities  booths are! So, about Current by Astoria. The first time I saw and came to this hotel was when we got lured by the offer of free buffet dinner at Astoria Boracay. lol. We were given buffet stubs and were told that there was no catch/fees/whantnots. So we went to have dinner in Astoria Boracay in Station 1 and little did we know, it was a marketing strategy. We were 'kind of' forced to go to Current By Astoria to listen to a loooooong presentation about Astoria Vacation & Leisure Club. (We eventually signed up and now members of AVLCI, separate post coming!)

A Little DIY Project

Image
So, one day I was bored + I can't find anything to hold my pens, so I decided to go make myself my own pen holder! So here's what I came up with. It's so easy, effort exerted was almost non-existent. Lol.  So I was using this empty cotton buds canister as my pen holder and it just felt so sad looking at it! I was actually planning to buy a legit pen holder but then I remember that I have a lot of washi tapes and this empty cotton buds container is perfect to be DIY-ed! I actually already gave away a lot of these, but I still have a shoe box filled with washis!!!  I chose these prints. Gotta love 'em lace, animal print and anything pink! Easy peasy like 123!

Just Like That.

It's crazy how things change so rapidly. I mean, I was just so happy and giddy when I woke up and now, here I am, feeling the exact opposite of how I felt earlier -- whatever that feeling is, that's how I feel right now. You know how no matter how hard you try, no matter all the efforts you make, you know for sure that one day everything is not going to matter. Those tries and efforts are actually not going to weight as much as whatever the reason behind it all. It breaks my heart that just when I thought I have moved forward already, I'm going to get pushed far far back again. It just sucks because I know that nothing's going to be good enough to turn things around. I hate it. I hate myself for it. And what i hate most is that I know that somebody is hurting even more because of me.  Yes, I am feeling all sh*tty right now, but I also know that feeling like this is not going to take me anywhere good. I will bounce back, I have to; but for now I'm going to a
