Where to Stay in Bangkok : Cheap Hotel in Bangkok

Aside from the plane tickets (if you were unable to take advantage of the seat sales), the only other big chunk of your travel budget normally goes to the accommodations. When travelling within the Philippines and the purpose of our travel is to relax, we do not hesitate to allot more on accommodation. But if the main purpose of the trip is to explore and see as much places as we can, then we make ourselves ready to sacrifice comfort a bit and settle for something a little bit lowkey.

We didn't actually have enough time to plan this Bangkok trip. Me and my partner had our minds set that we will go to Bicol. But two months before our planned vacation, change of mind and plans, we ended up booking a flight to Bangkok! So needless to say, we spent so much on our plane tickets hence, we needed to make sure that we won't spend so much in where we are going to stay.

I have checked Agoda and everything is over our budget. Good thing I remember AirBnB! I started looking around and found a really good deal! For four days, we only paid P4,128.00 - all in! That's only P1032/day! And guess what, we didn't even feel like we only paid that much.

Imagine waking up to this everyday, for only a little over P1,000? Amazing, right?

Best way to jumpstart a full packed day -- coffee while admiring this view.

The place is around 20-30 Minutes away from the city center via train, however, getting around wasn't an issue. The place is actually just 5 minute walk to BTS Punnawithi Station.

I love the modern and minimalist design of the place! There's even this desk where I was able to enhance and upload photos while we were there.

There's even a full length mirror perfect for OOTD!

Room is ideal for two, but if you will be travelling for three, there is still enough space for one person.
This sofa bed is comfortable enough to be slept on if traveling in 3 :)
Wifi was really fast. And it was perfect that the host also has a mobile wifi which we also rented for 900Baht during our whole stay. It would've been a real challenge if we didn't have internet access while getting around Bangkok!

Grabbed the photo below from AirBnB, posted by the host. Although the space also has this dining area, we opted to use the foldable table.

I wasn't able to take a photo of the kitchen and the bathroom. Bathroom was clean and spacious enough.

Other things worth noting:
-We also had access to the swimming pool! We actually planned to take a dip because the pool is also beautiful and clean, but we were too tired everytime we came back from touring the city.
-There are two massage parlors few steps away. One thing to do when in Bangkok is to experience their Thai Massage!
-There are restaurants nearby so you won't get hungry! Street food and cariendera food na masarap! ;)
-I just checked the listing and it's even cheaper now. Just P755.00/night (plus P700+ cleaning fee)

If you wish to check out the place, you may visit it HERE.
