Bangkok Day 1 - Where is Chocolate Ville?

When Bangkok gets mentioned, one would probably think about temples, pad thai, relaxing massage, night market, and maybe traffic as well! But cute places and park will not be on top of anyone's thought bubble. I, myself, was pretty surprised and stoked to find a pretty park to visit in BKK.

This trip was my second time in Bangkok and even though I was still excited to re-visit the temples, I wanted to go somewhere different!

So, what is Chocolate Ville? Where is Chocolate Ville?I stumbled upon a blog post about the said place and, I knew that we had to get this on our itinerary! It's a dreamy and pretty park. You do not have to shell out any money should you wish to just look around. Entrance is free! :)

The park opens its doors to visitors at 4PM. It is best to be at the place at 3:30 PM so you can already start taking photos by this windmill and other pretty things before entering the park.

I think we took more than 30 minutes just trying to take the perfect photos by the windmill and in front of this house!


My eyes were overwhelmed by the prettiness of the whole place.It was like living in Barbie Village. It was such a bummer that it rained for more or less half an hour; good thing that Chocolate Ville let the guests borrow umbrellas. Unfotunately we were not able to to much photos when we still had day light. 
We waited for the rain to stop and I found this mirror perfect for #OOTD. :) When the rain finally stopped raining, it was already dark outside.

I didn't take so much photos after it rained. We decided to eat first hoping to revive the energy.

Since the entrance at the park is for free, we already anticipated that the food will be a bit pricey. I don't have the price of what we ordered but I can say that it isn't as I expected it to be. However, it was also not as good as it looks. :/

 We didn't order much but since this has generous serving, we were able to take away some of it and we ate it for breakfast the next day! :D After dinner, we roamed around again and take more photos!

We were able to roam around the park from 4PM - a little past 8PM (with rain). 

 Just look at how pretty this Cafe and Gasoline station is!!! 
Unfortunately, everything in this house is just for photo op! They don't actually offer coffee here. :P
I really enjoyed Chocolate Ville! This is one of the highlights of this trip and I was so glad that we started our Bangkok journey this way!

How To Reach Chocolate Ville:

We didn't have a hard time figuring our way to Chocolate Ville. Just look for the nearest train station and you will be able to get to this dreamy place!

 We just road the train from our accommodation and alighted at the BTS Mo Chit Station -- it is the last stop of the Green Line BTS so you won't miss it. 
From Mo Chit Station, we  rode a taxi. Meter fare was not more than 150Baht. Some taxi drivers will refuse to use their meters, do not give in right away. They'll ask up to 350Baht to get to you to Chocolate Ville. There are many taxis, so just be patient in looking for an honest driver!

When it comes to my hair, I always play safe. Hair check! Last time I had my hair really short? Hmmm, when I was in elementary school! I think I was in second grade? I don't remember if it was my grandmother or my mother who decided that I should have my hair cut short. I was just a little kid so I had no choice but to oblige. Oh, December!

Lights. Pretty lights. Oh Christmas Tree! Why so taaalllll?? I started my December right by meeting up with my best friends at the Mall of Asia last December 1! We didn't take much photos because we got so excited catching up. We did not see each other for some time, so when we finally met up that day, kwento galore!  My Bestfriend, Jessica. I love how vain my bestfriend is! We really are best of friends hahaha! I used to be more vain than her, but as of the moment, I think she's more vain than I am! :)) And this is me, of course Top: Oxygen || Pants: Paper Scissors || Wedges:  Payless || Bag: Guess We were with Ymel, our other bestfriend, too but she's pregnant and she didn't want to have her photo taken because she thinks she's too fat. Well she gained weight because she's pregnant! Can't wait to meet Baby Zoey!!

Lips Are Sealed

Lately, I have been playing with the make up that I have. And also, I've been watching make up gurus once again. I started watching make up tutorials when Michelle Phan was just starting to get famous. You know, when she used to film in her room and with her then signature background music and very calm voice. I still love her, it's just that, since I went back watching make up tutorials few months back, I noticed how she changed! In a good way, of course. I am so happy for her! Anyway, enough of Michelle and back to me and my make up. lol. I do not have so much, but I think I have a lot for someone who claims that she's not into make up! Especially lipsticks. So the main reason why I went back to watching Michelle Phan and started watching other gurus is because of the stuff that my Aunt gave me.  I do not want to put those make up into waste, so I thought, why not give it a try!
