Artsy Cafe has always been on my radar when it comes to choosing a place to eat in Maginhawa.  I have been told that the food isn't great but; that did not stop me from wanting to eat there. Although I have been wanting to at there for a long time now, I still opt to wait for a special occasion. And 1st of August is the perfect date!  It was a bit crowded when we ate there so I was not able to take photos inside.  I could sit here all day. Now, for the food.. Since I had my expectations set already, I was not looking forward to eating that much. To be honest, I was more excited to see the place! My expectation was low so the food definitely exceeded my expectation. :P We ordered Mushroom Soup, Creamy Salmon Pasta, Oil Based Sardina ala Provencal, Baby Back Ribs, Brewed Coffee (Arabica) and Cheesecake Crumble. I think I have mentioned a lot of times how I am a matte kind of girl. I have been seeing a lot of people posting and raving about the LA Matte Pigment for more or less a year now. I was really hesitant to try it because I had an impression that it would be like the NYX Soft Matte Lip Creams which I didn't really like. What made me decide to finally give it a try is when I saw one of my officemates wearing it. It looked really pigmented and I noticed how it has a long lasting effect! There is a stall near my work place which sells the brand so I bought one. I forgot how much exactly did I but it for, but I'm sure it's not more than 350php. I decided to get Fleur. I was initially thinking of getting Dreamy because I loved it so much when I swatched it but I got talked into getting Fleur because the staff told me that it looks better on me! Lol. It's really pigmented and I can vouch for its staying power! It doesn't have a weird smell, too so plus

When in Davao, one thing that I suggest is to allot a day to visit and enjoy Eden Nature Park. Its95%man made forest. Man made because decades ago, in the early 70s, this part of Barangay Eden was a victim of illegal logging. What the Ayalas of Davao did was to restore it by planting trees and now, more and more people are able to experience a wonderful life in a forest.  We arrived at the park before lunch time. We decided to have buffet lunch first. Food was okay, notexceptional, but it was okay. What I loved most was one of the desserts, the Camote-Ube Float!  Although the buffet lunch was not exceptionally good, the view at their buffet area is really good! It's a glass type restaurant and the green view is amazing! It really feels refreshing there! After lunch, we had the chance to see the whole place. To kick off Philippines' Summer 2016, we headed to Magalawa Island in Palauig, Zambales. Travel time from Manila is more or less 5 hours, depending on your stop overs if you go there by a private car. Boat ride to Magalawa was quick. I think it was between 10-15 minutes. I did my research before going to the island. And yes, I have read about the feud between the two resorts in the island, Armada and Ruiz. The person in charge for reservation first inquired at Armada but they were fully booked already.  Since I did my research, I knew that I shouldn't expect much. I was looking forward to it, but definitely, I had my expectations set! So, we arrived at Ruiz, the staff are really nice. People are really helpful and kind. As for the shoreline at resort, I was not disappointed because, like what I have said, I knew what we're going to see. It would have been really better if there were no seaweeds. One random day, me and my partner decided to drop by National Museum. It was my first time after 28 years of existence and it feels kind of bad.  We waited in line for more or less 15 minutes before we were able to be accommodated inside. They make sure that they don't have too much people inside. I was actually surprised that they don't charge entrance fee. It was nice sight that a lot of people are still visiting the National Museum.  I was really impressed how beautiful it is inside. Although some of the items inside are in need of cleaning, the whole place is really well maintained.  That's me in front of part of the Berlin Wall Stairs are sooo grand!  What I have noticed is how a lot of visitors did not seem to pay attention to the signs in front of the displays. I wanted to blog about something else but I decided to post this instead! It feels more appropriate to blog this now, because if not, I don't know I would still want to in the future.  Our company decided to throw a Kick Off Party . To be honest, I was really hesitant to go because 1) Theme is Coachella and now that I gained weight, I know the disappointment that I would be facing when trying on outfits, 2) I felt like it would be a boring one (no alcoholic drinks allowed! lol) and 3) I just didn't feel like going. I took these photos of the lipsticks months ago, but apparently, I would always end up not posting it. Here I am again, drafting an entry but unlike last time, this is not going to be a failed attempt! So let's start! Lipsticks are my favorite make up! It's the easiest to apply, the most convenient to bring and that make up that can easily give you a transformation from daytime to night time look! My make up kit which I bring to work everyday has a lot of lipsticks in it. I do not even know why I carry a lot of lipstick with me always, but that's how girls are! We bring all the make ups that we can (or is it just me?)! These are four of the liptsicks that I tend to carry with me everyday. Well, I do not change lipstick every 3 hours, but I like bringing them because I love mixing them lippies! :D
