San San Nail Polish

Image
I was once very obsessed with nail polish! I would change my nail color every week, sometimes more often than that. When I was still in school, college, I would hoard nail polish from The Face Shop and Elianto. There was no way that I would be able to collect nail polish from China Glaze, Orly, Sally Hansen, etc during those times because I was only getting money from my allowance. Lol. Then when I started earning, I explored other nail polish brands, the pricier ones. I know that it isn't practical to buy a nail polish worth 300php+ but I bought anyways. Then somehow, little by little, I learned stop myself from buying nail polish. I was contented with just 3 colors, 5 the most. And then one time, I had my nails cleaned and polished by someone. She used SanSan Nail polish and I was amazed because the color is so pretty! Just one coating and it was looking good already. I went to the nearest HBC store to purchase some colors to try! I bought four colors and it didn't m

I'm Back + San San HD Foundation & 2 way Cake

Hello, hello! The prodigal blogger is back! I really have no great excuse for disappearing, yet again, for the nth time! I was just not eager enough to find time and blog. One of the things that I did while I wasn't blogging was to eat everything I wanted. And that would explain the gain weight! Haha! I'm TRYING to lose weight but it's just soooo difficult to say no to yummy food!  It is the holiday season already and there would be a lot of events. Aside from the #1 'I have nothing to wear.' problem, one of the hashtag GIRLPROBLEMS is how to make sure your to keep the face look decent all throughout the event! For oily people who happen to live in Manila like me, that is a REAL challenge. I've been researching and looking for the best and cheapest option there is and luckily, I feel like I already found the solution! This is kind of like a SanSan HD Liquid foundation Review, but not really, 'coz I don't really know how to write reviews. Lol.

Everyday Face Routine

Image
Well, honestly, I don't do this routine everyday! Haha! Let's just say that this is what I do whenever I go out and I have the time to put on make up. I don't know about you girls, but it takes forever for me to get ready. I am so glad that I had my hair treated because it surely saved me a lot of time. If I have to leave my house at 10 in the morning, I should wake up at 7 in the morning. Three hours to convince myself that I need to get up already, attend to morning washroom routine, eat breakfast, check my social networking sites, reply to inquiries at Bubblish Shop, take a bath, let my hair dry, put my make up on, dress up and finally double check my stuff that I should bring out. You might think that three hours is a long time, but there's a lot that I also need to attend to in between. And of course, I'm no expert in putting on make up. It takes me quite a while to finish my face.  Here are the stuff that I use for my (not so)  everyday look.

REVIEW: Maybelline Baby Skin Pore Eraser

Image
One of my biggest frustrations is my skin. I have a bad skin. Lol. I mean, I have oily skin, my skin is prone to pimples, I am acidic and to top it all, I have big pores! And yes, I am living in a tropical country with nasty pollution and unbearable heat, so ugh. You can just imagine how I always struggle to keep a decent face on. LOL. I have heard/ read about Benefit Porefessional but I am not willing to shell out 1K+ for small tube. I've been on the look for a pore minimizer/eraser and I am so happy that Maybelline has one now!  WHAT IT CLAIMS: ♥ Poreless smooth skin ♥ Lightweight & breathable ♥ Instantly erase pores, imperfections, lines and creases ♥ Skin is shine free, even and baby smooth WHAT I THINK ABOUT IT: ♥ PACKAGING - I love, love the packaging! I love that it's in a tube and easily squeezable! The translucent gel comes out easily and you can really control the amount that comes out of the tube. Plus, it's pink and green, so just t

Hair Matters

Image
When it comes to my hair, I always play safe. Hair check! Last time I had my hair really short? Hmmm, when I was in elementary school! I think I was in second grade? I don't remember if it was my grandmother or my mother who decided that I should have my hair cut short. I was just a little kid so I had no choice but to oblige. I obviously did not like how it turned out. It was actually because of that experience that I don't ever want to make a dramatic change to my hair. I remember how some of my classmates made a not so good comment with my then new haircut. THE hair can actually make you (feel) really ugly or pretty. So hair matters, right? RIGHT??? See, it's always in (almost) the same length. Straight. The only difference I actually make is the fringe. I either have it pulled back, full, side swept or none at all! And my face is asymmetrical (plus big) so yeah. I really don't have that much choice. I don't have the face which is flattering to short h

The interior of the spa/salon is so colorful, I love it! I've always wanted to try their services and I am so glad I finally did! I decided to g

Polka Love ♥

One of the reasons why I feel so blessed this October is because I finally got to buy a new camera! Although I do not really (as in REALLY) need a new camera, I still could not stop myself from wanting to have a new one since I saw Samsung's NX1000! We have our digital camera and my phone takes unbelievably good photos, but I really wanted to get hold of this camera from Samsung! And I am so happy, so glad and so thankful that I finally was able to buy it! MEET POLKA. MY PINK CAMERA! ♥ I am not going into details about the specs of the camera. Honestly, I haven't paid much attention to it. But if you're really interested, you can read the full specification of the camera here . The main reason why I was instantly drawn to this camera is because it's PINK ! It was love at first sight! For the longest time, I was contened with my Sony Digital Camera and my mobile phone, I have my cousin's SLR if I want to take really good photos! Then I saw this camera at t

Seeing The World Much Clearer

I've been experiencing terrible headaches since I was young. I remember being excused in class because I couldn't take the pain. Eons ago, I was prescribed to wear glasses. I did, but just for a short period of time. I thought it was unnecessary, so to make the story short, I stopped wearing glasses and stopped visiting the clinic for my eye check up!  So the reason why I'm blogging about this is because of my recurring headaches. It started again this year. I was ignoring it at first, but the other night I had the worst headache in so many years! Whenever I have headache and I feel like throwing up, I don't stop myself from doing so because it makes me feel better afterwards. The last headache was different tho, I already threw up and my head was still hurting so bad. So few days ago, I decided to visit a clinic and have my eyes checked after such a long time. And as expected I was prescribed to wear glasses! Ha!  Since the ones that I really liked are too expe

A Not So Book Review: Fifty Shades Trilogy

Image
It was last week of June when I bought the boxed set of Fifty Shades. I kept on seeing updates on Twitter and Facebook about the book series so I decided to buy the set. But here's a funny story, I didn't even know what the series is all about when I bought it. I was actually choosing between two authors but I decided to go with the majority and chose Fifty Shades without researching about the book! All I knew then was everyone I know who's reading the book is inlove with Christian Grey! And every girl wants to be Ana! I can be such a bandwagon-er sometimes! Lol. So yeah, I bought the books but completely forgot about it weeks after the purchase.I actually just started reading it more than a month after I bought it.  Now let's start talking about the content of the books. I had high expectations before I started reading it, mainly because a lot of people are raving about it, telling the whole world how addicted they are to the book, how they all love Christian G
